         The National School of Music and Performing Arts “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” – Burgas is a state art school, established in 1961. The course of studies continues from 1^st to 12^th grade in the following specialties: “Musician – Instrumentalist”, Musician – Vocalist”, “Classical Dance”, “Drama Theatre Acting”, “Graphic Design and Advertising” and “Costume Design”. Along with the education and training, the school also performs concerts throughout the school year, organizes The National Competition for Performance of Bulgarian Music “Varban Varbanov” and the Music of Austria and Germany International Competition “M.A.G.I.C.”.

The National School of Music and Performing Arts “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” – Burgas has been awarded the following awards:

The order of “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”- First Degree.

The “Golden Lyre” award of the Bulgarian Musicians’ and Dancers’ Union.

Two awards and two golden medals by Burgas Municipality Council.

The special award of Burgas Municipality for contributions to the development of education in Burgas and for outstanding achievements in the field of music.

The council of the European scientific and cultural community:

“Official honorary statute of an institution of considerable prestige and public recognition in the field of culture”, the “Golden Book” badge for contributions to the development of Bulgarian culture and “Golden Seal” for European management in culture.

“Rodni Zvutsi” School Board is a nonprofit organization which operates in the public interest, supporting the development of The National School of Music and Performing Arts “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” and enhancing its prestige. The School Board helps in the organization of all school projects. It also operates the Free School of Arts where 100 children study arts every year.
